A new die combination in Alfoldi, Caesar in 44 v. Chr.: obverse die A2 (pl. CI, 13), reverse die 3 (e.g. pl. C, 4). There are curious features on the unstruck edge of the flan, namely dots and blobs at left on obverse and a triangular shape at lower left on reverse.
